SIGNIS Offers Recognition Award to Catholic Media and Film Apostolate in Nigeria

We wish to introduce to you SIGNIS-Nigeria, the national branch of SIGNIS-World, the Vatican recognized worldwide association for catholic Communication. SIGNIS-Nigeria gathers together all Nigerian Catholics – the clergy, religious and lay people who are professionals in the field of media and communication: a) Those working in the various Directorates of Social Communication; b) Catholics who work in the print and electronic media (CAMPAN); c) Catholic Artistes and Entertainers Association of Nigeria (CAEAN); d) Catholics involved in the new information and communication technology; and e) Catholic communication lectures/researchers/teachers of ICT.
SIGNIS- Nigeria is approved by the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria as the forceful voice representing the Catholic Church in Nigeria in matters of media and communication.

Oct 10th to Nov 15th,  submission of video films, musical videos and documentaries.

Nov 20th, compilation of list of submitted works and beginning of jury vetting.

Dec 2nd,  morning session: 10am, Final screening of shortlisted media products.

Evening session: Starts by 6pm with paper presentation,  comedies,  presentation of awards,  refreshments etc. @ HOLY GHOST CATHEDRAL ENUGU

Dec 3rd,  departure.
